2024-2025
Why Get Involved?
This unique project provides an opportunity for Communication students to explore and deepen their understanding of religion and culture through a blend of field trips, engaging discussions, and immersive journalism experiences.
Below are just some of the perks of getting involved.
Field Trips
This semester’s class will include a visit to a megachurch in Spokane, as well as guest speakers who are experts on the topic.
Then, on Nov. 14 we’ll have a daylong event featuring James Dawson, one of the reporters from the Extremely American podcast.
Discussions
Through informal gatherings participants can engage in discussions and reflect on the knowledge gained during field trips while enjoying coffee, pizza, or other snacks.
Get Clips!
In this program, students can get published by sharing their photos, writing, and social media content. It’s a great opportunity for photographers, writers, and creators!
